The objectives on which Abhinav Pragati Samiti has been established and continues to operate.
To achieve complete literacy and to work for the promotion of education.
To work towards elimination of the practice of child labour and to take appropriate steps for their rehabilitation.
To implement and coordinate various activities relating to the welfare of people belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and minority groups, and to engage in related research activities.
To implement and coordinate projects aimed at development and maintenance of the environment, plantation, biodiversity, and to carry out related research.
To work towards maintaining social harmony and the overall development of society.
To promote moral and ethical values through social and educational institutions for inculcating self-discipline and developing an ideal national character.
To implement a job-oriented and labour-based educational system; establish, manage and run such institutions for the needs, aspirations and welfare of every section of society.
To set up and run training centres to promote rural areas of the state, uplift the educational and economic standards of deprived sections, and eliminate illiteracy, dowry systems, child marriage, fanaticism and other harmful social customs.
To establish and run welfare centres for de-addiction, senior citizens, physically and mentally handicapped persons, and overall human development.
To establish, manage and run high-level training colleges to bring out personalities in the fields of science, education, literature and sports.
To implement and research projects relating to Panchayat, Social Welfare and Rural Development.
To work on animal husbandry, animal medical care and animal rights, and to implement fisheries development projects.
To work for resource-less and poor people through active involvement in rural development with public participation, and to coordinate with social activities.
To create awareness and implement projects on public health, family welfare and population control.
To work for consumer awareness and protection of consumer rights.
To implement schemes for the development of different forms of art and culture.
To publish books, charts, articles, journals, magazines, newspapers, periodicals, newsletters and other publications for the promotion of the above objectives.
To acquire, purchase or take over on lease or hire any movable or immovable property, and to construct, maintain and alter buildings necessary for the work of the society.
To do all such other lawful things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objectives.
